| A chubby, and fun loving guy, Ron Jeremy is synonymous with porn. He isn't the greatest looking guy but he's got persistence and his sex drive just doesnt quit. He's been in over 1000 films and just keeps going, and going, and going. His real name is Ron Jeremy Hyatt and was born on March 12, 1953 in New York. He graduated in the Cardoza (Brooklyn) High School Class of 1971 and graduated from Queens college with a Masters degree. By mid 1970's he was teaching as a special ed teacher. In 78' his girlfriend at the time send in a picture to 'playgirl' mag. The publishers were impressed at what what they. Not only did he start getting fan mail from the females...but producers and directors in from the local porn scene started giving him offers. Ron was very talented, he even dabbled in off-broadway theater for a bit. The porn business where he lived was starting to boom and he leaped into it the first chance he got. His first feature was in 1979's "Tigresses. . .And Other Man-Eaters," sticking it to Samantha fox for his first film. After that he was hooked and quit teachers to pursue hardcore full-time. He became very busy, if not the busiest male actor in the porn industry. There was plenty of work for a hung guy who could last as long as he could. The fact that he is not too shabby of an actor and that he has a comedic personality has given him one of the longest careers in male adult porn. Some early work of his can be found in the daffy pirate epic "Snatchbuckler" and in the classics "Bad Girls 2" and "Fascination." For more recent films check out "Maddam's Family" and "The Flintbones." Ron knows he isnt a great looking guy but admits his success is probably all because he's just an average joe. "People can relate," he says. "When you see a gorgeous guy getting all the girls, the audience goes 'So what?' You see a schlub like me get lucky and it's like there's hope for everybody else."
